Who was Emanuel Swedenborg?
- Swedish philosopher, theologian, chemist, anatomist, and visionary, fluent in eleven languages (1688-1772).
- Swedenborg devoted the first half of his life to scientific investigations.
- After 1744 he turned his full attention to theology, metaphysics and started to explore visionary experience.
